Petit Psychiatry are looking for a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Virtual Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in a medical or healthcare setting and is comfortable handling administrative tasks, patient communication, scheduling, and electronic medical records in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and reminders.
Answer and respond to patient calls, messages, and inquiries professionally.
Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) (Experience in Charm HR is a plus).
Assist with patient intake, documentation, and follow-ups.
Verify patient information and insurance details when required.
Coordinate referrals, prescriptions, and medical records as directed.
Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the healthcare team.
Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and other healthcare staff.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA/privacy requirements.
Complete other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1-2 years experience as a Medical Assistant, Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or similar healthcare role.
Experience in a mental health or medical setting is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable using computers, EMR/EHR systems, email, and communication platforms.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional, dependable, and patient-oriented.

Work Schedule:

20–40 hours per week.
Availability to work evenings (EST), weekends, and holidays as needed.
